Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you located?
I'm located in a small town called Carlton, Oregon - about an hour southwest of Portland - in the heart of wine country!

Do you work with customers throughout the United States?
Yes we do! I've had pieces shipped to Kansas, Illinois, Texas, and they've all turned out beautifully!

When do I need to get my flowers to you?
Preferably the sooner the better, but no later than 5 days post-event due to the fragility of fresh flowers.

If the bridal bouquet is starting to wilt, can I include a bridesmaid bouquet or center piece?
Absolutely! The more flowers to work with, the better!

Do you require payment upfront?
Yes, all payment is due upfront. We are able to refund you if your event is cancelled prior to work beginning.

How do I keep my flowers fresh until I can get them to you?
Keep the bouquet in a water vase until ready to ship. Trim the stems and wrap them in a paper towel and secure in a ziplock bag with a rubber band. Make sure to keep damp paper towels away from the floral part of the bouquet.

Will the color of the flowers look the same after they are pressed?
Some fading should be expected. Whites usually become cream and blush usually becomes a purple/dark lavender and this is totally normal and part of the natural process of pressing flowers.

Can you press any and all flowers?
Sadly, no. Some flowers are just too thick and won’t press down enough to become flat. Good news, I can usually make a substitute flower to look very similar to the original if the flower is small enough. I will reach out in cases like this.

How do you choose the frame?
From my experience, neutral frames such as gold, white, natural wood look best with most bouquets but if you want a specific color frame, please let me know!

How far are you willing to drive to pick up/drop off bouquets?
I'm willing to meet in Tualatin, OR and anywhere in between there and Carlton.

How long does the process take?
It usually takes me about 3-4 months from receiving flowers to delivering a final piece but during the busy months of the late summer/fall it can take up to 4-5 months.

Will my framed flowers last forever?
During the pressing process, all flowers are treated with preservatives and UV protection to ensure longevity of each piece.

Do you accept last minute reservations?
If booked within a week of the event (and I have availability), a $50 fee will be applied.

How much is shipping?
Shipping is free and included in the price of our packages.
